Reem is an alumna of the MGM Writing Program, and a two-time scholarship recipient at the Groundlings. She is one of six chosen to participate in the upcoming NBC Late Night Writing Program.

Currently, Lydia is a Policy Counsel for the Data and Privacy Project at the Center for Democracy and Technology, and the Director of Policy, Advocacy, and External Affairs at the Autistic Women and Nonbinary Network. Lydia also works as Adjunct Lecturer in Disability Studies for the Department of English at Georgetown University.

He is the founder and director of the Easterseals Disability Film Challenge and is a board member of Easterseals Southern California.
